Sandefjord kommune [Sandefjord Municipality] wants to establish a contract for maintenances services for graves in cemeteries in Sandefjord kommune [Sandefjord Municipality].
The cemeteries must appear as dignified memorial sites and good maintenance of graves is an element to achieve this.
The maintenance includes approx. 3,100 graves, divided across the graveyards at Orelund and Ekeberg in Sandefjord and the churchyards at Sandar, Sandefjord, Stokke (upper and lower), Skjee, Arnadal, Kodal, Andebu and Høyjord.
Reservations are made for budget coverage before the contest ends and a contract is signed. If the received tenders exceed the municipality´s budget, the municipality can cancel the contest.
There are currently no burial boxes for self-watering installed at the graves. During the contract period, burial boxes for self-watering will be taken into use at all of the graves with a care agreement, cfr. point 1.2.5
