The wanted laboratory analyses include detection of fresh water amoebae associated with legionella, intracellular and free-living legionella pneumophila in closed water systems on board vessels, as well as the detection of other microbiological and chemical pollution in accordance with the drinking water regulations.

There is also a need for advice on microbiological pollution, with an emphasis on legionella pneumophila and amoebae, and their interaction with each other in closed fresh water systems on board vessels.

The contracting authority will have the option to extend the framework agreement one or more times for a further 2 years.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

Requirement: Tenderers must be registered in a company register or a trade register in the country where the tenderer is established.

Documentation: Company Registration Certificate or equivalent certificates.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

Requirement: Tenderers must have the required economic and financial capacity to fulfil the contract.

Documentation: Credit rating from a certified credit rating company. The rating must not be older than three months.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

Requirement 1: Tenderers must have sufficient competence to carry out the delivery, including: tenderers must be able to carry out analyses of water samples from closed water systems on board vessels as regards legionella pneumophila. This includes cultivation for the detection of fresh water amoebae and legionella pneumophila intracellular in amoebae, PCR detection of legionella pneumophila, cultivation, genotyping and serotyping of legionella. Able to carry out analyses of water samples from a closed water system on board vessels in accordance with sample group A in the drinking water regulations.

Documentation 1: Documented by a detailed description and references.

Requirement 2: Tenderers must have a good and well-functioning quality assurance system.

Documentation 2: Description of the tenderer's quality assurance methods. If a tenderer is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 or equivalent standards, it is sufficient to present a copy of a valid certificate.

Requirement 3: Tenderers must have a good environmental management system.

Documentation 3: A description of environmental management measures that have been implemented in the organisation. If a tenderer is certified in accordance with ISO 14001 or equivalent standards, it is sufficient to present a copy of a valid certificate.
