Randberg og Sola kommune (Randaberg og Sola municipalities), hereafter called the contracting authority, hereby invites tenderers to participate in an open tender contest in connection with entry into a framework agreement for the purchase of laundry services.
The assignment concerns washing, collection and delivery of textiles, doonas and pillows for the nursing homes, environmental and home services at the contracting authority. The nursing homes will own their own stock of duvets and pillows in the contract period, whilst the other textiles will be hired from the tenderer.
Comprehensive description of the delivery in accordance with the requirement specification.
The contracting authority has set up the following two lots:
— clothing (i.a. cook's jackets, aprons, trousers, and clothing for patients at institutions);
— Linen (i.a. sheets, pillow cases, terry cloth).
The framework agreement will have a 2-year duration, and the contracting authority will have the option to extend this for a further 1 year + 1 year, totalling 4 years. The options will be automatically taken up unless the contracting authority gives notification otherwise at least 3 months before the contract or option year expires.

Tenderers must have a good and well-functioning quality assurance/management system for the services that will be provided.
The tenderer must have experience from assignments of relevant nature, scope and complexity.
Tenderers are required to have an organisation that has the capacity to carry out the assignments in accordance with the contract.
Tenderers are required to have a contract with a emergency laundry, and the possibility of loaning/acquiring textiles if the tenderer's production or supplier fails.
Tenderers must have an environmental management system to ensure environmental requirements are met during the agreement period.
