Kinn municipality will use this procurement to enter into a framework agreement with one supplier for the purchase of iPads for the childhood and youth development sector.
The purchase is estimated to be around 500 iPads during the year. Over a 4-year period, Kinn Municipality will need to purchase around 2 000 iPads. Gamle Vågsøy Municipality currently uses Chromebooks. If they decide to change to iPads, this part of the municipality will also be included in the contract. This amounts to a possible initial purchase of around 700 iPads and in addition around 150 replacements over the course of 4 years.
Kinn Municipality wants a return and repurchasing scheme for iPads. The supplier will process older models and repurchase these. Tenderers must also describe the return and repurchase process on a maximum of four A4 pages.
APL — days is an important part off the framework agreement. Kinn Municipality wants to maintain the good level we currently have. We ask for the number of APL days we get per 100 purchased iPads.
