Fortum Oslo Varmes (FOV) waste-to-energy plant at Klemetsrud emits approximately 15% of the CO2 emissions in Oslo. FOV has entered into an agreement with the Norwegian State as a part of the Longship project for financing of a substantial part of the costs of a carbon capture facility. FOV has further on applied to the EU Innovation fund for additional funding to realise the project. The project is one of the most important contributions to reduce the emissions in Oslo.
This request is for the ground- and foundation work for the carbon capture facility and intermediate storage at Klemetsrud, as well as the terminal at Oslo harbour (Kneppeskjær). FOV is the owner of the facility and will be the contracting party for the works. The request is for an execution contract (NS-8405).

The project is mainly divided into 3 locations with the associated main activities:

1. Capture facility at Klemetsrud

• Demolition of administration building

• Removing vegetation

• Blasting of rocks and securing of cuttings

• Outwards transport of masses

• Levelling of rocks

• Trenches for surface water management

• Construction of foundations

• Construction for concrete ditch for electrics

• Preparation of surfaces and roads

• Fencing

2. Intermediate storage and charging stations at Klemetsrud

• Demolition of existing building on bus site

• Excavation and preparation of ground

• Handling of masses ("Tiltaksklasse 2")

• Foundation

3. Intermediate storage and export facility at Kjeppeskjærskaia, Oslo harbour

• Demolition of warehouse/workshop (Skur 89)

Supplier shall have sufficient capacity to perform the works within the given limits and deadlines.

The contract will be entered into based on NS 8405 Norwegian building and civil engineering contract, with changes and additions made in the contract documents.
