Kristiansand kommune [Kristiansand Municipality] (the contracting authority) wants to enter into a framework agreement for purchase of furniture and fixtures for schools and before-and-after school care.
This is one of four lots for furniture and fixtures. The combined value of the total procurement (i.e. the four lots) is estimated to be over the EEA threshold value. The lots are implemented as separate contests, due to practical reasons related to publication via Mercell. The other lots are: office furniture, nursery school furniture and institution furniture. A contract will be entered into with one tenderer per lot. Tenders can be submitted for one or more of these lots. This contest concerns the school and before-and-after school care lot.

The purpose of the framework agreement is to cover the municipality’s need for furniture and fixtures for schools and before-and-after school care in accordance with the requirement specification.
Purchases with an estimated value under NOK 200,000 excluding VA:
The framework agreement will be mandatory for purchases with an estimated value up to NOK 200,000 excluding VAT.
Purchases with an estimated value between NOK 200,000 and NOK 500,000 excluding VAT:
It will be voluntary to use the contract for purchases with an estimated value between NOK 200,000 and NOK 500,000 excluding VAT.
Purchases with an estimated value of NOK 500,000 excluding VAT:
Separate contests will be held for purchases with an estimated value over NOK 500,000 excluding VAT.
The framework agreement concerns the entire range within the category school and before-and-after school care.
Main assortment
Some of the products are part of a core range. The intention is that the main assortment will cover most of the contracting authority's needs. What furniture is included in the main range is specified in the attached product and price form under the tab ‘core range’.

If the main range does not cover the need/specification, the contracting authority will use the other range. Tenderers must have both ample breadth and depth in their other product range that this contract applies to.
The other range is priced according to the guiding prices with offered discounts.
Under the tab ‘discount’ tenderers must enter the product groups and discounts for products not included in the attached product and price form.
