The contest concerns the hire and washing of personnel linens, textiles and resident linens. The service shall also include collection and distribution of the textiles to the units included in the agreement. The aim of the service is to ensure that the contracting authority's units always have good access to clean, comfortable and appropriate work wear of good quality. We want to inform that we are cancelling the contest, a framework agreement for washing and hire of clinic linens for institutions, cf. PPR § 25-4 (1). The reason for cancellation is that we are uncertain whether we will have sufficient competition for the contract. By dividing the contract we believe that the market situation will improve. In the Procurement Regulation § 19-4 there are rules for division of procurements. The purpose of the decision is to make it easier for small and middle sized businesses to participate in contests for public contracts. OFA will announce the contest anew and facilitate increased competition by suppliers being able to submit tenders for the following lots: Part 1: Personnel clothing; Part 2: Textiles and resident linen.
