Framework Agreement for the Procurement, Delivery and Assembly of New Furniture

Trondheim Kommune

Trondheim Municipality, hereafter called the Contracting Authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for the procurement, delivery, and assembly of new furniture for the municipality's entities.
Trondheim Municipality will enter into framework agreements for new furniture that is designed for a circular economy and that ensure access to environmentally friendly, high quality furniture with a focus on sustainability and long lifetime.
A framework agreement will be signed with one supplier per sub-tender. There are sub-tenders for nurseries, schools, offices, and institution furniture. Separate contests will be held for procurements valued at NOK 800,000 excluding VAT or more via a dynamic purchasing system or via separate tender contests.

The framework agreement is for the delivery of institution furniture and function furniture for Trondheim municipality.
This means furniture and mobile fixtures for users of health and welfare centres, health buildings and activity centres/district cafes/meeting places. The contract for office furniture will be used for furnishing areas for employees.
The Contracting Authority has 24 health and welfare centres and 3 health buildings that will use the contract when they require the products included in this contract. Private units that have municipal operational support can also use this contract. There are currently 3 such health and welfare centres.

The municipality has approx. 50 shared housing consisting of houses for youths and adults with different function levels (young physically disabled persons, psychiatry and drugs and alcohol, mentally handicapped). As a main rule, this contract will be used for furnishing common areas. In some cases they need furniture for household use (in the private flats), and they have a right, but not an obligation, to use the contract.

Requirement: tenderers must be a legally established company.
Documented by a company registration certificate or equivalent.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Documentation requirement: credit assessment of the tenderer, not older than six months from the deadline for receipt of tenders. The evaluation will be based on the last known fiscal figures with an indication of how the credit rating has developed during the last three years. The evaluation shall be issued by a company with a credit information licence from the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. See www.datatilsynet.no. The result of the credit appraisal shall be stated as a categorised score (letter of number) against a defined scale. Recently established tenderers must substantiate the financial capacity for the implementation of the assignment, or other documentation, e.g. accounting figures and a bank guarantee.
