Through this procurement, IKT Nordfjord/Nordfjordnett and the participating municipalities will be able to enter into a framework agreement with a tenderer for purchase of the following types of equipment and services: Access point, Network equipment - edge switch, Network equipment - data processing centre switches/core switches, Network equipment - firewall, UPS, Server - blade servers, SAN - disk for the existing SAN, Consultancy services connected to equipment in the points above.
The contract duration is one year with unilateral option to extend for one year + one year, in total up to three years.

In addition to Nordfjordnett, the following units shall be able to enter the agreements: Bremanger municipality, Gloppen municipality, Stad municipality, Stryn municipality and Kinn municipality. These units will act as independent Clients in accordance with the signed contract. If any of the participants in the procurement collaboration during the agreement period want to separate parts of the operation into their own legal entity (e.g. limited company, foundation, etc.), they shall have the option of entering the agreement on original terms within a reasonable time. Any separation could reduce the scope of the delivery.
The estimated annual value of the framework agreement is unclear, as the contracting authority is facing a change in the technology. Former agreement had an estimated value of NOK 2-5 million per annum. The limit for this agreement is based on purchases of up to NOK 7 million per annum, to a total of up to NOK 21 million. The scope of the contract is uncertain and neither Nordfjordnett or the municipalities have any purchase obligation as regards the value of this contract.
The agreement will be entered into as a Framework Agreement in accordance with SSA-K [Agreement governing the purchase of software and equipment] with appendices.
