The tenderer will be responsible for providing advice and proposals for investments for the long term portfolio. We would like the tenderer to have an active role in proposing changes in the portfolio if the situation warrants this. The portfolio is estimated to have a value of approx. NOK 300 000 000 when the contract is signed. The size of the portfolio can vary, both due to currency exchange change rates in investments and also if the financial situation in the municipality calls for the portfolio to be reduced, or that further capital can be deposited into it.

The basis for the procurement of consultancy services will be the limits and conditions that apply in the current finance rules. Sandnes Municipality's finance rules were last approved by the municipal council on 16 December 2019 and are stated in annex 5: Finance Rules, New Sandnes Municipality.
