BYM can take on execution responsibility for even more town development areas in the contract period. These can then be added during the contract period.
BYM has been asked to take on execution responsibility for Bjerke, Oslo S, Furuset, and Helsfyr. This has not yet been clarified with the Town Council Department for Environment and Transport (MOS).
The execution responsibility involves responsibility for projects that, after signed development contracts, will be implemented under the aegis of the municipality (cash contributor) or that the developers themselves will implement (real contributor). BYM's responsibility for real contributors is to approve the landscape plan and construction schedule, and follow-up that the measure is carried out in accordance with the approved landscape plan and construction schedule.
