Malvik kommune (Malvik Municipality) invites tenderers to participate in the contest for 'E3 Machinery Contract’ for Saksvik Sewage Treatment Plant.
Malvik Municipality will demolish the existing sewage treatment plant in Saksvik and construct a new plant on the same site, Rønningsvegen 31. Some preparatory work for this must be carried out in 2021. At the same time, a new sewage pump station will be established at Vikhammer, as well as temporary cleaning in Saksvik. The preparatory work must be coordinated with these other contracts. When all of this is in place, the demolition of the existing building, ground work, and construction work for the new sewage treatment plant will start.

Contract E1 preparatory work is the first contract to be procured, the others will be procured consecutively.
The project will be carried out with divided contracts, with start up at different dates throughout the construction period of approx. 2.5 years. The provisional plan for execution of the different work is shown in the table below.

In connection with the machinery contract a contract will be signed according to NS8405.
A mechanical treatment plant with sedimentation will be built. The discharge must satisfy the requirements of primary treatment, 50 % SS and 20 % BOF5. The dimensioned water volume is 90 l/s (approx. 8400 pe).
Contract for e# will be entered into in accordance with NS8405.
The following works are included in this contract (E3):
— four inlet pumps;
— two inlet grates with washing press;
— aeration sand trap, mammoth pumps, or sand washer;
— scrape the bottom of the sedimentation basin;
— sludge pumps;
— two dewatering screws with polymer systems;
— four containers for sludge, screenings and sand with drop shafts;
— flower machines and compressors;
— stainless steel pipeline system with various vents;
— drainage ditches etc. in stainless steel;
— flow meters, pressure transmitters etc.;
— process water equipment (pumps, pressure screens etc.).
Further information is in the attached drawings. Minor adjustments may occur before the tender request.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Norwegian tenderers must present the following certificate: certificate for tax and VAT (can be ordered electronically on Altinn).
The certificates must not be older than 6 months from the tender deadline.
Norwegian tenderers: company registration certificate.
Foreign companies: registration certificate in a professional register as determined by the legislation in the country where the tenderer is established.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling: Tenderers must have satisfactory finances for carrying out the contract.

— The entity's annual financial statements or extracts thereof if the publication of the annual financial statement is required in the country where the tenderer is established. Documentation that shows the tenderer's last annual turnover was at least twice the the contract's estimated value;

If a tenderer cannot provide the above documentation, or wants to document that these give a misleading picture of his financial situation, he must prove his economic and financial standing by providing other documents relevant to the company's accounting figures/finances. Tenderers must then provide specific reasons why the requested documentation may not be available or gives a misleading picture.
