The assignment includes design of technical municipal infrastructure for regulated housing area with water, waste water, surface water, roads, footpaths, retaining walls, security fences, carparks, playgrounds, street lighting and cabling for electricity and fibre. Planning and implementation of geotechnical investigations/reports for facilities and sites, coordination, planning and organising the hire of forest contractors for forestry access for sub-surface surveys. Perform environmental mapping of warehouse buildings for demolition. Carry out engaging of contractors. The selected tenderer will be the responsible applicant and engineering design in relation to the building application. Options for construction follow-up and design of paths/hiking tracks.

The project includes design of the Brennåsen housing area with technical municipal infrastructure for clearing of plots in accordance with the adopted zoning plan for 3071 Brennåsen east and the preliminary project Roads, Water and Sewage Brennåsen. The engineering designers will clarify the need for geotechnical investigations, coordinate and organise hiring of forest contractors for forestry access for drilling trucks, perform geotechnical investigations with reporting and be responsible for geotechnical engineering design. Dimensioning, calculating and engineering design of technical municipal infrastructure will be carried out in accordance with Rana Municipality’s W&S Standard and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's manuals. The procurement concerns coordination of plans with cable agencies for electricity, fibre and street lighting and preparation of tender documentation for engaging contractors. Warehouse buildings crossed-off in the zoning plan will be environmentally mapped for demolition, and demolition of warehouses will be in included in the contract quantity description. Consultants will have the functions SEARCH, RESPONSIBLE DESIGNER, RESPONSIBLE CONTROLLER, in accordance with the Planning and Building Act. An HSE plan will be developed the and consultant will be the HSE Coordinator for engineering design in accordance with the Builder Regulation.

Scope of road/footpath approx. 2,150 m, Scope of pipeline route approx. 2,450 m.
