Vik Kommune

Vik kommune [Vik Municipality] invites tenderers to participate in an open tender contest for construction of a new health and welfare centre in Vik. The project includes multiple different buildings which together form a combined health and welfare centre in Vik. Some of the buildings are new and some are existing buildings that will be added to/rehabilitated.
The construction work will start approx. 07.03.2022 and be completed approx. 31.05.2026 Within this time frame the construction phase will consist of three different construction stages, where different buildings at the site will be built/rebuilt/rehabilitated in quarterly stages.
The gross combined floor area of the various buildings that will be built, rebuilt and rehabilitated in the project is approx. 8,500 m2.
The works will be implemented as a main contract in accordance with NS 8405.
The tenderer is awarded contract CDEF Main contract for construction disciplines including joint rigging and operation will be the main contractor. The contracting authority will enter into contracts with the other enterprises; G.1, G.2, H.1, H.2 and H.3. The main contractor may be responsible for administration of side contracts.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
Vik Municipality’ intention is basically to build the entire VHO facility, i.e. All sub-buildings included in the overall facility. This is however dependent on whether the total cost for the project after tender collection, is in accordance with the builder’s budget for the development..

Development of the following sub-buildings is therefore to be seen as options that will be priced, and which the building has a unilateral right, but no obligation, to use.
- Sub-building B including any associated outdoor works
- Sub-building E including any associated outdoor works
- Sub-building G including any associated outdoor works
Therefore, after evaluation of the project cost after tender collection, it can be relevant that one or more of these sub-buildings not be realised in the project period. The tender prices for these sub-buildings will be including in the evaluation under the award criteria price. It was emphasised that any lacking price of one or more of the options will lead to rejection of the tender.
