Contract B03 — Alterations ByggHaugesund2020

Helse Fonna HF (Fonna Hospital Trust) has approved the expansion of the hospital in Haugesund as well as the consequent reconstruction in the existing building. The construction project is called ByggHaugesund2020.
The construction work at ByggHaugesund2020 consists of three main activities:
— B01 Ground and demolition work (fcompleted 1 quarter 2018):
— B02 New building (planned moving in August 2021):
— B03 Alteration work (this contract) comprises alterations/upgrades to approx. 9000 m of the area in the existing hospital.
In addition, ByggHaugesund2020 also includes some minor building assignments as well as major and minor procurements of medical equipment.
B03 The alterations are to be carried out as a turnkey contract. The contract will be based on NS 8407 with some additional provisions.
The alteration work will mainly be carried out after B02 new building has been moved into, which is scheduled for the end of August 2021. Some minor areas will be altered before the new building can be moved into.

The premises that will be altered will be in full operation in the tender period. If the corona situation permits it, a site inspection can be arranged for interested tenderers.
The builder will assess the possibility of holding a physical information meeting. A digital information meeting will be offered if tenderers request it, or if the builder deems it to be appropriate.
Any information and registration to the site inspection/information meeting will be published in Mercell.
