Hjertnes Arts Centre was completed in 1975 and is a combined cinema and arts centre with a total of 29 stage pulleys.
Hjertnes Arts Centre will sign a contract for upgrading the current manual counterweight based stage pulleys to motorised stage pulleys.
The tender is for the replacement/update of the existing stage pulleys, including the assembly of motorised stage pulleys for raising and lowering the stage and lighting equipment. Hjertnes Arts Centre would like to reuse as much of the existing installations as possible (pulleys, cables, blocks, etc.)

Disassembling existing stage pulleys is also included in the tender.
Tenders are wanted for 20 complete motorised stage pulleys, with controls for up to 29 pulleys. Including assembly.
This concerns from pulley 6 and back (see the annex: 'Hjertnes-stage.pdf').
The pulleys numbered 1 to 5 will not be changed this time.
An option for up to 10 complete motorised stage pulleys, including assembly, must be priced separately.
The current system:
The stage pulleys at Hjertnes Arts Centre currently consist of 29 counterweight stage pulleys with a total permitted load of 350 kg.
4 light pulleys have a total permitted weight of 500 kg. The total load can be increased to 500 kg on all pulleys if the load bar is replaced. New load bars are to be included in the tender.
The load bars are 23.5 m long with an approx. 18.5 m lifting height, and they hang from 7 points with 6mm cables per pulley.
Replacement/upgrade of 20 counterweight pulleys to electric/motorised and programmable stage pulleys.
Silent stepless motors are to be delivered with a total permitted weight load of minimum 500 kg per pulley.
Controls for stage pulleys for up to 29 pulleys are included in the contest. The delivery must be in accordance with EN 17206: 2020 Entertainment technology - Machinery for stages and other production areas — Safety requirements and inspections, and classified in machine class UC4 (permits personnel to be under moving pulleys).

Site inspections are encouraged. Due to continual operation in the arts centre, a site inspection must be agreed with the operations department well before the tender deadline.
Hjertnes Arts Centre has continual operation, so the installation must be adapted to the operation of the arts centre. Sandefjord Municipality would like a tentative schedule for the installation.
