The assignment includes operation and maintenance assignments related to electrical installations, with functional responsibility for some of the assignments on county roads, and county foot/bicycle paths with accompanying side installations, side areas, equipment, and installations in the central and northern areas of Troms in accordance with the object lists in chapter D2-V.

The contract includes the following geographical areas (D2-S01):
Balsfjord, Tromsø, Karlsøy, Lyngen, Storfjord, Kåfjord, Kvænangen, Nordreisa and Skjervøy, Norway.
The work will be done for a round sum for round sum processes, in accordance with the volume and unit prices for other processes such as work based on a cost-plus basis according to hourly rates for personnel and equipment.
The contract will be valid between 1 March 2022 and 31 August 2026 for all the assignments that are described.
The builder has an option to extend the contract for 12 months, from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027.
The most important systems and installations that are covered by the assignment consist, amongst other things, of: county roads, including foot/cycle paths.
Number of tunnels/avalanche shelters with electrical installations: 15
Number of traffic signal systems: 3
Number of weather stations: 5
Number of traffic counting places Level 1 (Level 2) 26 (1)
Number of variable signs: 25
Number of bridges with electrical systems: 5
Number of lighting points outside tunnels: 1354
Number of distribution cupboards for street lights: 75.
The assignments includes, amongst other things, inspections, function testing, and internal control as well as periodical work, damage repair and replacement/installation of object. The assignment also includes registration, planning activities, stand-by, documentation, reports to the builder, and handling other assignments that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of electrical installations on the road network.
