This assignment is connected to measure 1 in the action plan 'Freedom From Negative Social Control and Honour Related Violence (2021-2024)':
'There is a need to map the competence on negative social control and honour related violence, as well as in the services that meet newly arrived refugees and immigrants. This can, for example, be employees in adult education, the introduction programme, and other services that follow-up newly arrived refugees and immigrants. The mapping must cover all levels of the relevant services.'
The intention of the competence mapping is split into two. Firstly it will form the basis for making a competence raising strategy, cf. measure 1 in the action plan:
Secondly, the competence mapping will strengthen the basis for dimensioning, targeting, and coordinating competence raising work for minority consultants, integration consultants, IMDi's professional team, and the competence team against forced marriage, genital mutilation, and negative social control (the competence team).
