Clearance and Disposal of Radioactive Waste from Søve Mines
Norsk nukleær dekommisjonering (NND)
The clearance measures consist of excavating and transporting the matter to a certified land fill site, as well as a final inspection. The clearance work can be detailed in the following sub-activities:
— preparing and securing the area for excavation,
— excavating the matter,
— transport to a certified land fill site,
— conditioning and disposal of the matter,
— inspection of the area after the matter has been removed,
— returning the area to its original state after the excavation,
— final report.
The assignment is to be preferably carried out by 1 January 2024. The contracting authority is aware that the application processing time can be longer than what is estimated in the final date. The contracting authority must be given the opportunity to carry out a final inspection of the area.
