Stavanger kommune

Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola and Randaberg municipalities, henceforth also referred as the contracting authority, shall carry out a tender contest for a new framework agreement for carpentry installation work with accompanying materials.
The contract will include municipal buildings and residences in the municipalities, including schools, nursery schools, residential and activity centres, nursing homes, retirement homes, swimming pools and sports centres, office buildings, arts centres, municipal rental housing, health centres, etc. Private nursing homes in Stavanger Municipality will also be able to enter into the contract.

The contract will include municipal buildings and residences in the municipalities, including schools, nursery schools, residential and activity centres, nursing homes, retirement homes, swimming pools and sports centres, office buildings, arts centres, municipal rental housing, health centres, etc. Private nursing homes in Stavanger Municipality will also be able to enter into the contract.

The procurement will cover all types of joinery work, including:
— facade work,
— repairs to and construction of internal walls,
— damage limitation and securing buildings in the event of break-ins and vandalism,
— replacing doors and windows,
— asbestos removal work,
— wet room work,
— fire protection/proofing,
— alterations, extensions, renovations and decoration of varying scopes,
— work on listed buildings/buildings worthy of protection with an historical value,
— engineering design work for all carpentry works included in the agreement, to the scope required by the contracting authority.
The assignment also includes material deliveries, disposal of demolition material, and securing measures for the tenderer's personnel and the buildings' users. The list is not complete. All assignments that naturally fall under the discipline are included. The list is only for information and is not binding for the contracting authority.

The contracting authority can, if needed, procure material from a separate framework agreement for building materials and wood, and only order services from the tenderer for this agreement on carpentry work. In other words, it shall be possible to procure only hourly services without material deliveries. When work is not included, the contracting authority must procure wood and building materials from a separate framework agreement for this.

This framework agreement will be signed with one tenderer who will be awarded all assignments under NOK 200 000 excluding VAT for Stavanger municipality, and assignments below NOK 300 000 excluding VAT for Sandnes municipality, Sola municipality and Randaberg municipality. Assignments above these amount limits will be awarded in a dynamic purchasing system and are not a part of this framework agreement.

The contracting authority reserves the right to use the framework agreement for assignments that exceed these amount limits for urgent assignments. This will apply where the conclusion of a contract can not be postponed during the time period it will take to make call-offs in the dynamic purchasing system. Urgent assignments are i.a. leakage, renovation after fire, if residents are suddenly homeless.
