The aim of the procurement is to be able to assist travelling transfer refugees and refugees who will be returned or who will go back to their home country in such a way that the journey is made in a satisfactory way.
The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) is responsible for ensuring that refugees who are being transferred are taken care of at Oslo Airport and assisted onwards to their final destination in Norway. This mainly means assistance upon arrival at Oslo Airport and facilitating for onwards domestic travel by air, but it can also include transport by other public communication, such as train or bus. In addition, some groups of transfer refugees must have assistance with meeting the police at Oslo Airport where they must give a fingerprint.
UDI is also responsible for ensuring that refugees who shall return to their home country receive assistance before and at departure.
