Ås municipality shall construct a new Åsgård school. The school shall be situated in the central areas of Ås, at the western side of the Town Hall and the Town Hall Park. The new school building is for four parallel classes with a capacity of 784 pupils. A multi-purpose hall shall also be constructed with a field of play of 25 x 45 metres with associated changing rooms and storage rooms. A parking basement shall be established below the school building with space for approx.100 cars. The current three school buildings shall be demolished. A complete outdoor area must be developed within the plan area which contains approx. 26.1 decare. The total gross area of the new school building is approx.15 200 m. The school will be handed over fully furnished and must be ready for school start in the autumn of 2023.
