Ås Sixth Form College has a total of seven buildings and will expand its capacity from 1 200 to 1 500 pupils through several sub-projects. In this measure, building G will be renovated and altered. Building G is from 1976 and has a total of 4 403 m gross. It is a free-standing building, with two main floors and a mezzanine floor (technical floor) between the ground floor and the first floor in the core of the building. A new technical floor is to be constructed on the roof as part of the renovation.

Viken County, Property Department, is the contracting authority and the builder in this contract.
Ås Sixth Form College is located in the centre of Ås Municipality. The college is situated on a site that is owned by VIken County. Åshallen is also located on the site, which will be extended in parallel to the renovation of building G.
Building G currently houses the following subjects; electro, facilitated learning, hairdressing, florist, interior and exposure design (FBIE), craft, design and product development (HDP) and art, design and architecture (KDA). After the renovation, the facilitated learning will move to another building, whilst the remaining subjects will stay in the building.

Scope of the demolition:
The scope of the demolition must be what is required in order to carry out the building work that has been drawn and described. This includes, for example, the demolition of walls, doors, windows, silo, ceilings, floor coverings, and stairs. The demolition work also includes removal of the demolished matter and the necessary costs/fees connected to this. See the tender documentation, annex C2 technical description, and the attached demolition drawings for a detailed description of the demolition work.
