Kilden teater og konserthus (Kilden Theatre and Concert Hall) in Kristiansand is Norway's largest performing arts institution and one of Scandinavia's most exciting environments for professional performing arts and music. The Arts Centre houses Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Kilden Theatre, Kilden Opera, Kilden Culture and an innovative execution of the social side of the social assignment through Kilden Dialogue. In interaction with each other we represent a cultural offer without equal. Every year, almost 200,000 audiences experience one of our approx. 800 performances, concerts, and events, performed by a diverse team that represents approximately 250 man-years from 23 nationalities divided into 64 occupational groups. The building has a gross area of 16,500 m2, has 4 audience halls with capacity for more than 2,200 audiences simultaneously.

We need to enter into a contract with a tenderer of electrical installation services related to our daily operations in the building. As the contract with the current provider of the service expires, we hereby invite relevant tenderers with sufficient competence and capacity to participate in a tender contest.

A contract will be entered into with a provider for a period of 2 years, with an option for extending the contract for 1 + 1 year. The estimated annual contract value is NOK 700 000, excluding VAT. Great variation from year to year must be expected regarding the total value. Kilden is a 10-year-old building, and the cost associated with the operation and maintenance of the electrical system has to some degree increased in recent years. Continuous assessments are also made regarding the replacement of installed equipment regarding a reduced environmental footprint.

In addition to various electrical installation services in accordance with requirements, the contract shall also include a periodic electrical control with thermography inspection every second year.
The thermographic inspection includes the following equipment:
— inlets, 2 units, 2500A,
— main switchboards, 2 units 2500A with associated switches,
— sub-distribution boards, 31 units,
— ventilation units 13 units. The electrical inspection with thermography shall be calculated in accordance with the hourly consumption and the hourly rate for technician.
Relevant tenderers are invited to an inspection of the building on Monday 21 June at 10 a.m. Meet at the guard station at the staff entrance at the back of the building in Sjølystveien 2. Registration for participation is not required.
