The scope of the contract, is in short, that student housing will be built in two buildings in Røverdalen at Gjøvik. The buildings will be erected on top of a new parking garage, structured to facilitate the two student housing projects. The student housing is divided into two buildings with eight residence floors, with 16 studio apartments (HE) per floor and respectively 13 and 11 studio apartments on the ground floor of the buildings. This gives space for up to 248 studio apartments in total.
The parking garage will have 182 parking spaces. Nine of these are Handicap Parking spaces. The parking garage will be built over two stories and will be made of concrete.
The student housing will be built in concrete on floor 1 and timber for the floors above. Timber will be both in the slabs and load bearing system.
