The Directorate of Public Construction and Property requests group offers for engineering design and building consultancy services. The builder consultancy services consists of the following main elements.
- Professional support for the team for procurement and follow-up of user equipment packages.
- Assist the builder to ensure correct quality of turnkey contractor deliveries (K201 and K202), including participation in evaluation of change proposals and further change management
- Other consultancy services for the builder related to the project implementation of the project aside from regular engineering design.
The Ocean Space Centre is divided into the following wings:
Wing A Offices and teaching building
- Wing B Wet laboratories, construction and machine laboratories, storage, workshop and parking
- Wing C Teaching laboratories, power plant.. Wing C will also contain both wet and dry teaching laboratories.
- Fjordlab, central operations in Heggdalen, as well as installations in three sea areas; Trondheim Fjord, Hitra/Frøy and outside Ålesund. In addition, smaller buildings will be established in Ålesund. The request concerns work related to wing A and B as well as work with cross-discipline systems, while work in connection with wing C and Fjordlab are options for the Directorate of Public Construction and Property. The options are further described in the tender invitation.

It is emphasised that in this competition it is possible to evaluate references more than three years old of offered personnel.
Varighet: 60 måneder
Beskrivelse av fornyelser:
The assignment will commence on 1 February 2022. Planned completion with handover of wing A is in 2024 and wing B in 2026. For the options the planned completion of wing C is 2028. Planned completion of Fjordlab central operations in Heggdalen is not yet set.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The Directorate of Public Construction and Property has the right, but no obligation, to continue the contract with the following options:
Wing C; engineering design and builder consultancy services, altogether approx. 6,500 m2. The wing consists of wet and dry teaching laboratories. Tender documentation will be prepared for the turnkey contract. Furthermore, the Group will design and prepare the tender documentation for procurement of user equipment packages and participate in procurement and follow-up of packages. The Group will also participate in the process with users.

Central operations in Heggdalen and installations in three sea areas; Trondheim Fjord, Hitra/Frøy and outside Ålesund. Establishment of minor operational buildings and quays in Ålesund, as well as minor reconstruction at NTNU Campus, Ålesund.
