The ferry serice from Åfarnes to Sølsnes on county road no. 64 shall be subject to upgrading. The ferry connection is in operated by new environmentally friendly ferries with 100PBE electric operation. New main quays of 7x100m shall be built on Åfarnes and Sølsnes ferry quays. The new quay shall be adapted to the existing bridge booth. The old quays shall be demolished and parts of the old quays must be demolished after new quays have been established.

The contracting authority uses electronic procurement processes via the system provider Mercell (www.mercell.no). Amongst other things, tenders must be submitted electronically by the stated tender deadline.
Tenderers are responsible for submitting tenders by the tender deadline.
Tenderers are recommended, therefore, to submit tenders well before the deadline expires, for example, at least 1 hour before the tender deadline.

The tenderer must have sufficient economic and financial capacity to complete the contract.

If a tenderer has valid reasons for not being able to provide the documentation requested by the contracting authority, the tenderer can document his economic and financial capacity by presenting any other document that is relevant to the fiscal figures/economy and that the contracting authority deems suitable. The tenderer must substantiate why they can’t present the documentation required by the contracting authority.
