The Agency for Cemeteries and Burials' main assignment is to ensure that Oslo's inhabitants are buried with dignity and respect, based on their religion or outlook on life. The agency will be built up under the municipality's vision of being a green, warm, and creating city with room for everyone. The agency manages Oslo's 20 cemeteries as agreed with the Church Council. Oslo Municipality's climate budget has ambitious goals of a 95 % reduction of climate gas emissions by 2030. A central policy for achieving this is switching to zero-emission vehicles. Based on this, GFE needs to procure two electric lorries with a hook body.

Cancellation of the call for tenders. Oslo municipality, c/o the Agency for Cemeteries and Burials: 2 electric lorries with a hook body 2021 (ref.nr 21/5638). We refer to the tender announced in DOFFIN/TED on 12.07.2021. Oslo municipality has, based on the Public Procurement Regulations' § 25-4, decided to cancel the competition with immediate effect. The basis for the cancellation is that all incoming tenders received in the competition have been rejected. The requirement for a justifiable basis is met. The obligation to state reasons, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations' § 25-4 (2) is hereby considered to be fulfilled. Oslo municipality c/o the Agency for Cemeteries and Burials will soon call for tenders for a new similar contract with adjustments that will appear in a change log. We thank you for participating in the contest and look forward to your participation in the upcoming call for tenders.
