Ocean Space Centre consists of specialised laboratories with particularly highly specialised user equipment. In addition an office building and teaching premises for SINTEF and NTNU at Tyholt in Trondheim is to be established. The laboratories contain wet laboratories such as a sea pool, a rough sea pool, as well as dry laboratories such as construction and engine laboratories.

The wet laboratories will be used for testing fixed and floating installations and constructions in different wave, current, and wind conditions. The dry laboratories will be used for the scientific development of concepts and technology for energy systems and propulsion systems for ships, maritime installations, and the farming industry.

Ocean Space Centre will also have new office areas, teaching areas, an innovation centre, as well as wet and dry teaching laboratories. The centre will give Sintef and NTNU unique and world leading facilities for modern education and scientific research.

The existing towing tank at Sintef/NTNU at Tyholt in Trondheim will, as part of the construction project, be shortened in order to make room for a new building that will include a Sea Pool and a Rough Sea Pool. The towing tank will be taken out of use and demolished when the new Sea Pool and Rough Sea Pool are ready and taken into use.

The enquiry is for the delivery and installation of new, modern wave machines with the accompanying electric engine and local control system for the shortened towing tank.
Statsbygg would like to sign a contract with a tenderer of wave machines for the shortened towing machine.
Varighet: 12 måneder

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Tenderers are required to have a legally established company.
Company registration certificate, foreign companies are required to have an equivalent certificate in the country where the company is registered, alternatively StartBANK ID.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Tenderers are required to have satisfactory financial implementation ability. The size of the turnover, seen in relation to the contract value, can be emphasised.
Statsbygg will carry out a credit rating of tenderers. Tenderers can, in addition, be asked to submit the auditor confirmed annual accounts, alternatively, state StartBANK ID.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Tenderers are required to have relevant experience from deliveries with comparative value.
A description must be submitted of up to 3 recent and relevant reference projects with comparative value, with, as a minimum, information on:
The customer and project name.
Type of contract and contract value excluding VAT.
The tenderer's assignment/role in the project, as well as the scope of the delivery.
The start-up date and completion date (year) / if not completed - where one is in the project.
