Kort beskrivelse:
The contract is for periodical inspections, operation, maintenance and error correction of the municipality's street and park lights.
The participants in the contract (the municipalities) will also have an option to use the contract for squares, car parks, lighted ski tracks, etc., on the same terms (prices) as those in the contract.
The contract also includes engineering design services for and the execution of alterations and/or new installations.
The contracting authority can deviate from the framework agreement for engineering design services and for the establishment of street lights, when this is included in major contracts for development projects or other projects.
The street light network consists of the cable network and line network. There are approx. 831 km of cable network and approx. 945 km of line network, of which approx. 66 km are unipolar. The work area comprises approx. 38 700 street light points in the municipalities in question, which illuminate approx. 1 500 km roads. The number of street light points is divided between approx. 3,700 and approx. 10 200 per municipality. Approx. 32 400 street light masts are registered in the database, both wooden masts and steel masts. The rest of the lights hang from joint masts with Skagerak Nett. The stated scope is estimates based on statistics. The stated estimates are not guaranteed.

The fixtures have different light sources, including most light types that are and have been used in street lighting. A good number of new fixtures with LED have been assembled in recent years. The quality of the street lights vary, on average the quality is considered to be average. There is still a lot of the old network, unipolar network, old ignitors in network stations and old fixtures that pull down the total assessment. The amount of unipolar network is declining after a lot of focus on removing this in recent years.

The overview of the types of fixtures and their age is not good, but a lot of fixtures have been used from Multilux in the last 10-12 years.
'Zone shift' is not normally done on street lighting.
There is a partially developed central control system that is controlled by PC and mobile telephone. The hardware in the control system is owned by the municipalities, whilst the software is currently owned by Datek Lightcontrol AS. The control system can be expanded as agreed with each municipality.

The scope is subject to change in the contract period due to a continual assessment of ownership and operational responsibility for the street lights along a lot of the county roads. For the time being, the municipalities are responsible for the street lights along the 'old' county roads that were not changed from national roads in the last road reform.
