Molde hospital is one of four hospitals in Møre and Romsdal Hospital Trust (Norwegian abbreviation: HMR). The other hospitals in HMR have implemented a tracking system for sterile goods. This shall also be implemented at the Hospital in Molde. In 2024 Molde hospital and Kristiansund hospital shall merge to one hospital, the new Hospital Nordmøre and Romsdal (Norwegian abbreviation: SNR) at Hjelset and the District Medical Centre (Norwegian abbreviation: DMS) in Kristiansund. The tracking system shall then be included in the new hospital.

— A database system or an IT system that must safeguard the tracking of sterile goods during the entire process. The contracting authority must have an option to expand the system, e.g. regarding the relocation to SNR in 2024.

The contract period is 3 (three) years from the date stated in the contract's page two (initiation date). The contract will then be renewed automatically for 1 (one) year at a time, unless 3 (three) months’ notice is given by the contracting authority prior to the renewal date.
