The Municipal building in Sandvika is to be totally renovated. The work shall be divided into 2 contracts: a demolition contract and a turnkey contract for construction with a partnering contract. This contract is for the construction work. The turnkey contract is divided in 2 partnering contracts:
1) preliminary project; and
2) implementation.
Stage 1 has a duration of 5 months and stage 2 has a duration of approx. 2 years Stage 2 is an option.
When the building is completed, it will consist of approx. 33 500 m gross area. The building will have a total of 7 floors. The completed building must have 1 300 activity based work places, and it must comply with energy class A and BREEAM-NOR 'outstanding'.
The work is scheduled to be contracted in April 2020, the preliminary project is scheduled to be initiated in April 2020, the construction work is expected to by initiated at the beginning of October 2020 and the completion is scheduled to be completed by 1.9.2022, at the latest.

The turnkey contract comprises all work included to complete the building, including new facades, an extension, addition and all internal and external work. The completed building must have 1300 activity based work places, and it must comply with energy class A and BREEAM-NOR 'outstanding'. The office areas must have full flexibility, and it must be easy to change from an open landscape to offices.

The building will have a total of 7 floors, including a technical room on the roof. Floors U1 and U2 will be in partially underground in sloping terrain, and will be used for parking, changing rooms, a gym, stores, etc. The light areas in U1 and U2 will be a meeting room centre, project rooms, etc. Level 1 will house the customer centre, 'health square', canteen, etc. Levels 2-4 will be office premises and other workplaces, and level 5 will have technical rooms.

The work shall be divided into 2 contracts: a demolition contract and a turnkey contract for construction with a partnering contract. After the demolition contract has finished, the building will be stripped down to the concrete covers and pillars, with the exception of parts of the constructive demolition that will be carried out in this contract.
