Justification for cancellation Reference is made to the published tender contest 20/14 regarding a contract for telephony and mobile traffic. In accordance with the PPR § 16-3, the deadline for receipt of requests to participate in the tender contest shall generally be at least 30 days from the day the tender notice is submitted to the TED database. By mistake this deadline has become significantly too short and the contracting authority's assessment is that the mistake may have affected the participation in the tender contest. The contracting authority has received feedback on several uncertainties in the tender documents which are unclear whether they can be clarified/corrected without making significant amendments. The qualification round has been completed and the contracting authority sees no other option for amending the mistakes than to cancel the call for tenders and republish the contract.
