The creosote joists appears to be in good condition and can be reused if possible.
The pillars have been regularly replaced over the years, so the pillars will be intact in some places whilst there will be damaged or missing pillars in other places.
We do not know how many pillars must be replaced/inserted. It is best for tenderers to make an assessment during the site inspection.
As the goal is that the quay appears as authentic as possible after the renovation, the goal must be that the replaced parts are replaced with the same or equivalent parts.

Tenders from a group.
If a tenderer consists of a group of two or more participants, (engineering design group, working partnership, etc.), the tender must be signed by all the companies in the group. Each individual group member must fulfil the ‘tax certificate’, ‘suitability’ and ‘economic and financial capacity’ requirements. The group must together fulfil the technical and professional requirements, possibly with the use of subsuppliers. Confirmation must be given in the tender that the qualification requirements in the contest are fulfilled. The confirmation will apply for all suppliers in the group. Documentation of the group participants' fulfilment of the qualification requirements must not be submitted with the tender.

Documentation from the sub-supplier that he fulfils the relevant qualification requirements must not be submitted as part of the tender, but must be delivered prior to the contract signing at the latest. Site inspection and assessment.
It is a prerequisite that tenderers obtain knowledge of the work area and other signification conditions during the site inspection.
Tenderers must obtain information on significant local conditions for their work, such as ground conditions, transport options to the work area, matter, access to electricity, water, etc.
Tenderers must engage certified professional geotechnical engineers as a basis for geotechnical surveys that will give a general assessment of the foundations. The tenderer must cover the cost of this himself.
It is a prerequisite that tenderers are familiar with the general public regulations and the regulations that apply in Namsos Municipality, to the degree that these can influence the execution of work or costs.
Subcontractors/suppliers.
Tenderers must state the names of subcontractors/suppliers that will be used in the tender form.
The builder must approve subcontractors/one-person companies that the company will use to carry out the assignment.
All companies must present a certificate for tax and duties and an HSE declaration as a basis for any approval.
