Kystverket [the Norwegian Coastal Administration] shall enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of oil booms with a fixed floating body, 35 cm freeboard. It is a requirement for participating in the tender contest that the tenderer can verify that the product can be placed in existing the Boom bags and by this replacing the current EP350 booms in terms of size, shape and flexibility.
The equipment shall be used for the Norwegian Coastal Administration's assignments related to acute pollution events. The booms shall be stored in the Norwegian Coastal Administration's depots along the Norwegian coast. These depots are refilled in accordance with requirements. We want to supplement the depots by receiving deliveries from the supplier's service warehouse in the case of events.
