The service provider must engineer a complete ventilation system based on the designed tunnel profile and the function description in the tender documentation. The ventilation system must have equivalent function and capacity as the existing system, but must better facilitate inspections, maintenance and replacement of equipment. The contracting authority will design a cavern with water and frost protection, ditches, concrete slabs and concrete walls with rectangular recesses to the ventilation tunnel and electricity supply and lighting. The ventilation manufacturer will be responsible for the design of ventilators, diffusers and valves and supply calculations of capacity, pressure loss, engine rating and noise. The engineering design will be divided into two phases:

Phase 1: clarification of external dimensions so that the contracting authority can design exact placement of walls, recesses, foundations and conduits for pipes and cables;
Phase 2: preparation of production drawings, dimensioning of engine, frequency transformers and cables, as well as the delivery of documentation.
The supplier will base the selection of solution on price, quality, function and maintenance costs.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
The tenderer must be a legally established company.
Documentation requirement: company registration certificate from a register of business enterprises. Foreign tenderers can submit an equivalent certificate in accordance with the legislation in the tenderer's country of establishment.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling: Tenderers must have sufficient economic capacity to implement the contract.
Minste nivå(er) av standarder:
The contracting authority will obtain a credit rating from Experian. Credit worthiness will be sufficient to meet the requirement. If in doubt, the contracting authority can obtain further information from tenderers. If a tenderer has valid reasons for not being able to provide the documentation requested by the contracting authority, the tenderer can prove his economic and financial capacity with any other document that the contracting authority deems suitable.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet: Tenderers must have experience from relevant assignments.
Minste nivå(er) av standarder:
Tenderers must enclose a list of minimum of three (maximum five) of the primary relevant assignments and services performed in the last 3 years, including information on the value/quantity/scope, dates, a brief description of the assignment and the name of the public or private recipient. A tenderer who is newly established and cannot submit references, must be particularly careful to demonstrate that they have the prerequisites to carry out the assignment. Newly established tenderers can document fulfilment of the requirement by referring to the experience of offered persons/resources that have developed their skills in the service of other providers. With hereby inform that the call for tenders is canceled on based on the Public Procurement Regulations § 25-4. The current contract is related to contracts for: — E16 the Lærdal tunnel-bypass for shaft ventilation. — E16 the Lærdal tunnel, upgrading of tunnel. The project Tunnel upgrade west has now received a feedback that we cannot call for tenders for works in the E16 Lærdal Tunnel as the total cost framework is exceeding NOK 1 billion. Thus, the project Lærdal tunnel as a whole has to go through a KS2 review. The date for a new call for tenders is uncertain.
