Kort beskrivelse
The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway wants to enter into a contract for the establishment of a database for pipeline systems in Myanmar, as well as local training in Myanmar more than 70 % of the Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise's (MOGE) onshore pipeline systems in Myanmar are unguarded. MOGE therefore experiences numerous leakages and fires due to corrosion. There are approx. 4 000 km pipelines of varying quality and age operated by MOGE. These are followed up by an incident-based approach. There are no systematic risk-based follow-up or maintenance for this infrastructure. The approach is to repair errors/leakages and by this repair or replace parts of the pipelines. MOGE has an annual budget for replacing 2 % of the pipeline systems. The provider of this assignment shall establish a system for evaluation and controlling risks for the pipelines. There are no electronic data regarding co-ordinates, positions, design pressure, temperatures, material quality, diameters, thickness of the pipes, of the pipeline, etc.
