The purpose of the tender is to meet the agency's expanded need for engineering design expertise in water and drainage. The engineering design competence is a prerequisite for VAV to be able to carry out planned projects. Section engineering design needs to maintain, as well as increase the capacity of engineering design expertise. One envisages hiring 2 engineering design managers divided by 1 within excavation-free solutions and 1 in excavation solutions. Up to the summer of 2020, section engineering design has 1 contract for the hiring of 1 engineering design manager within excavation-free solutions. In order to maintain the desired production, there is a need to enter into new contracts for the hire of engineering design managers. In addition, there is a need to increase production capacity, as the new master plans and city council declaration suggest an increase in the rehabilitation rate.
