The procurement will facilitate a uniform service offer and high-quality of the safety-creating technology in the municipality. The municipality has an objective to increase the use of safety-creating technology. The services will promote safety, independence, masting and activity, as well as postpone the need for more comprehensive health services.

The procurement will contribute to improving the service offer within safety-creating technology and so that new services can be tested in controlled forms.
Furthermore, a welfare technological platform will be procured that handles the safety-creating services, as well as alarms at institutions/residences.
Drammen Municipality has a future-oriented and proactive approach to welfare technology. The municipality places emphasis on developing the organisation to be able to take in use safety-creating services and to realise the benefits of these. Sustainability is a central part of the municipality's prioritisations and is therefore highly emphasised in the competition.
