The work will be settled with a round sum for round sum processes, in accordance with the amounts and unit prices for other processes and as cost-plus work in accordance with hourly rates for labour and machines. The contract will be valid for the period 1.9.2020 to 31.8.20225 for all of the assignments described.
The contracting authority has the option to prolong the contract for 12 months, from 1.9.2025 until 31.8.2026.

The road network included in the assignment (including arms and ramps) consists of: 704 938 km of road in total, of which 682 599 kms is county road in Nordland and 22 139 kms is county foot/cycle path in Nordland.
In the number of kilometres of foot and cycle paths, and in the total number of kilometres of roads, there is 530 metres of foot and cycle paths that are not in the V list.
From 1.1.2023, the contractor will also operate the following: County Road 834 hp 1 (Kirkevegen) Green spaces, bushes and trees described in chapter D2-S05.
From 1.1.2024, the contractor will also operate the following: County Road 17 Halsa - green spaces in connection with new foot and cycle paths listed in chapter D2-S20.
The traffic on the road network varies from approx. ADT 30 to approx. ADT 8 500 and an annual traffic growth of approx. 0,5 % is anticipated.
The assignment mainly consists of routine operational assignments and minor maintenance assignments on the road network. The assignment also consists of inspecting and registering, planning the activity, stand-by for winter operations and general traffic flow, documentation, reporting to the builder, information to the public and handling other assignments that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of the road network.
