Voss Herad

Voss rural municipality was established 1 January 2020 after the merger of former Voss municipality, Granvin rural municipality and a part of the Oksen Peninsula.
The last general taxation was implemented in Voss municipality and Granvin rural municipality in 2009. It was valid from 1 January 2010. For the Oksen Peninsula taxation was implemented in 2013.
The cadastral data is pretty good for the entire rural municipality.
In accordance with transitional rules given in §13, the third paragraph of the Property Tax Act, ordinary taxation has been carried out in the entire rural municipality. The rural municipal council has decided to carry out a general taxation of all properties in the rural municipality in 2020 which means that the taxation is coordinated from 2021.
Voss rural municipality is using the front-end system KomTek for municipal fees, including land taxation.
