Oslo Kommune v/Kultur-og Idrettsbygg Oslo KF

A multi-purpose hall will be established along with sports surface, weights room and associated changing rooms at Korsvoll in Oslo. Changing rooms will also be established for the existing courts on the site. In addition, a nursery school and assembly room will be established in the building.
The project is divided into two construction stages.
Construction stage 1 includes upgrading of Åmotveien. Construction stage 1 is described in detail in D Descriptive part. The description consists of a standard description and a special description. The standard description is subject to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's manual R761 ‘Process Code 1 Standard description texts for road contract’ and R762 ‘Process Code 2 Standard description texts for bridges and quays’.
Construction stage 2 includes the remainder of the project, i.e. the multi-purpose hall, assembly room and nursery school, as well as the outdoor area and path connections, parking spaces, etc. Construction stage 2 is described in the requirement specification as a turnkey contract.
Both of the construction stages will be implemented as one project and as a turnkey contract.

The zoning provisions provide guidelines for i.a. the building content, design, placement and size as well as the adjacent outdoor area. The combined area for the development will not exceed 3 165 m
The building will also be designed with high architectonic quality with i.a. glass facade, boxes and protrusions in the facade. Raised roof or installations on the roof will not be allowed.
The zoning provisions also set requirements that Åmotveien will be developed including road, footpath and other road base before the commissioning permit for the multi-use hall, nursery school and assembly room is granted.
