Helsedirektoratet (the Norwegian Directorate of Health) has been assigned by Ministry of Health and Care Services procure an online management education for the general practitioner service.
The objective of the training is to provide the participants knowledge, skills and attitudes related to management and their own management practice. Interaction and collaboration both in relation to own practice, between municipal services and between service levels are important effects of the education. Furthermore, the education must provide knowledge of and skills in the management of work with quality and patient security.

Estimert totalverdi: 10 000 000 NOK 💰
Kort beskrivelse:

The online management education must give an opportunity for achieving approx. three credits. The course must give GPs and other general practitioners an insight into common basic principles for management which also form the basis of national management education for the primary health service. It will be an advantage if the online management course can stimulate to a preparatory course for specialisation through the national management education for the primary health service, which corresponds to 30 credits at master's level.

The Norwegian Directorate of Health has collaborated with the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities' organisation (Norwegian: KS) and the Norwegian Medical Association for the preparation of the procurement documents for online management education for GPs and other general practitioners.

Beskrivelse av fornyelser:

The contracting authority shall have an option for 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 years extension. If the option is activated, the tenderer will receive written notification at the latest 3 months before the contract expires.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

It may be relevant during the contract period to increase the number of student places (new classes/increased number of students). An expansion of the number of classes presumes separate financing and is subject to the required grants through the Norwegian Parliament's discussions on the annual budgets.

The agreed price per student will also be used for any expansion.
