New notice 20/13627 Contest — Construction of Nursery School and Multi-purpose Hall — Gullhaug

Holmestrand kommune

Holmestrand kommune (Holmestrand Municipality) invites tenderers to participate in a contest for construction of a nursery school and multi-purpose hall at Gullhaug.
A new eight department nursery school is planned to replace the current Gullhaug nursery school and establishment of a new multi-purpose hall that will cover the school's need in relation to exercise, as well as the sport's and other users' need for hall surfaces in the evening and at weekends. The existing nursery shall be demolished.
The project also includes work connected with technical infrastructure such as a new fire extinguishing water connection, new establishment of parking places, new access road to the nursery school and multi-purpose hall, and preparation of the 17 of May space and a number of minor traffic safety measures.
The value of the procurements is estimated to be approx. NOK 100 million excluding VAT. The amount is an estimate and is considered non binding for the municipality. If the amount exceeds the municipality's total budget limit, this must be handled by the municipal council and can result in cancellation. See point 1.3 in the tender documentation.

The procurement must safeguard comprehensive economic, environmental and social considerations that contribute to balanced sustainable development. The aim is for the building to be as climate neutral as possible in relation to renewable energy within the economic limits, and the environmental strategy of the project. The buildings can be erected both as a traditional building or a building made of solid wood. The focus will be on the building's environmental footprint in the erection and operational phase, as well as noise in the construction phase.

Via Terje Grønmo Arkitekter AS, a feasibility study has been developed, with associated drawing sets. The feasibility study/drawings are located under the documents tab.
The procurement contains i.a. The following disciplines:
— ground works,
— construction,
— heating, sanitation and ventilation,
— electrical,
— automation,
— outdoor works,
— outdoor works water and sewage,
— demolition of the existing nursery school.
The project is expected to start immediately after contracting in January 2021 and will be completed by May 2022.
The nursery school and school will be in regular operation throughout the construction period, and consideration must be given in relation to noise and transport to the construction site. Demolition of the nursery school must not be carried out before the new nursery school is completed and taken into use. See the appendix for technical program chapter 2.9.
