The technology is used for pre-operative mapping of functional brain areas in patients with brain tumours. The method can reliably determine the anatomical relationship between the tumour and functional areas. This enables pre-operative risk classification and optimal planning of the surgical procedure. This creates a basis for better advice for the patient and safe and efficient treatment. We anticipate using this method on about 30 patients with intra-axial pathology (tumours, vascular malformations) annually to start with and we anticipate that the number will increase in the future. The technology can also be used for other indications than for pre-operative mapping of functional areas.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Requirements for tenderer's registration.
Documentation requirements: tenderers shall present documentation of their legal registration in a company register in the state where the tenderer is established.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Tenderers must have sufficient economic and financial capacity to fulfil the contractual obligations.
Economic and financial capacity means that the tenderer fulfils the following requirements: a credit rating of at least score A or higher, measured against the AAA Soliditets scale or an equivalent score from another reputable rating company.
Minste nivå(er) av standarder:
The contracting authority will evaluate the tenderer's compliance with the qualification requirements in the following manner: credit ratings.
If a tenderer has valid reasons for not presenting the documentation requested by the contracting authority, the tenderer can prove the economic and financial capacity with any other document that the contracting authority deems suitable, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations' § 16-4, including, for example, a parent company guarantee, bank guarantee, etc.
