This is a turnkey contract. The contract is for all work involved in the replacement of two bridge and a width expansion of a foot/cycle path subway. In addition, the work include adjustments and alterations to the accompanying road line fully and/or partially along the lots listed in chapter D, a total of approx. 2 450 m. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Central Region would like tenders from contractors with the professional, technical and economical basis necessary for fulfilment of the contract. Furthermore, experience is required from equivalent work for the execution of the above-mentioned contract work in accordance with the tender documentation.
The deadline for completion is 1 December 2021.
The following sub-deadlines apply:
1) completed design basis for submission for technical control in the directorate of roads, 1 December 2020;
2) complete asphalted wearing course on county road 3, 15 November 2021.
The deadlines can be changed due to the Covid-19 situation.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Central Region would like tenders from contractors with the professional, technical and economical basis necessary for fulfilment of the contract. Furthermore, experience is required from equivalent work for the execution of the above-mentioned contract work in accordance with the tender documentation.

Short description of the scope:

— obtain supplementary basic data;

— carry out detailed engineering design services and engineering design management.

Constructions:

— the existing Kiva bridge is to be replaced with a new bridge on the existing road route;

— temporary diversion and temporary bridge over Kiva;

— the existing land abutment and bridge plate at Tingstadbekken is to be demolished and removed. A new Tingstadbekken bridge is to be constructed upstream from the current bridge;

— the width of the existing Hanestand bridge is to be expanded.

Road:

— national road 3 is to be constructed as a H1 road with a width of 9 m;

— reinforced central markings along the road;

— the foot/cycle path is to adapted and asphalted by Hansestad bridge;

— improvements of Hanestand road junction;

— moving and new establishment of junctions and exits along the entire stretch;

— reducing the gradient of slopes. Levelling the ground.

Other work:

— all culverts are to be replaced across the entire road width. Minimum dimension Ø600 mm. Manholes that were installed before 2015 are to be replaced;

— follow-up of water samples before the start-up, during the construction work, and after the site work is completed in Kiva;

— railings are to be established in accordance with the TS audit, based on the technical basis for the development plan and the construction plan;

— disassembly, moving, and re-establishment of, possibly installation of new, street light installations.

Amount of traffic; the current amount of traffic along the stretch is ADT(2019) = 2 400. Percentage of heavy vehicles is 38 %.

The work can be initiated after the contract has been signed, if a guarantee declaration and a copy of insurance certificate have been presented to the builder. See the detailed requirements under the points on interaction, quality plan, HSE, and the future plan in chapter C.
