Ruter is responsible for planning, coordinating and marketing of scheduled public transport in Oslo and parts of Viken County (former Akershus County). Ruter is not an operating company, but purchases transport services from several bus, railway, tramway, and boat companies that undertake the daily transportation services. To better understand our customers' needs, we conduct interviews with our customers. These interviews are currently conducted as follow:
1) 9 000 telephone interviews where the objective is to get an overview of the travel patterns and the contentment of the customers;
2) 40 000 interviews of customers onboard the vehicles using the ferry services. The purpose of these interview is to gain insight in the travel experience. This includes how the vehicle appears in the form of cleaning, comfort etc., as well as the driver's driving style, service attitude, etc.
The objective of this call for tenders is to find a partner who can execute this on behalf of Ruter.
