The main aim of this procurement is to obtain knowledge on important marine ecosystem types in Oslo fjord, as well as get practical experience with the new marine mapping guidelines. The Norwegian Environment Agency has provisional financing to map Oslo fjord in 2020. This contract can be extended, however, so that we can map more types of marine nature in all of Oslo fjord. This presumes that there is an equivalent or increased budget for marine mapping in subsequent years. The mapping must be carried out in accordance with the species database's type classification and description system for nature, Nature in Norway (NiN), and in accordance with the current version of the species database's field guidelines for mapping marine nature variations in accordance with NiN (2.0). Continuation of the mapping beyond 2020 is an option.
