Oslo municipality considers it extremely important to capture general media coverage, reactions, opinions and ideas from local communities, public bodies and various interest groups, as well as specific and topical news in national, regional, local, professional and social media. It is a goal for the service to improve the possibility of holding discussions with residents and to improve understanding of how the residents as users and observers experience the municipality's services and offers. By analysing and evaluating, Oslo municipality's businesses can gain an overview of development and tendencies in the media image and arrange the communications work thereafter.

The municipality's technical agencies and companies also have a special need to establish a media monitoring service that is specifically related to their own disciplines, in regard to both innovation, development and specific reference.

In varying degrees, the businesses must have previous knowledge of elements in the media image that can affect operations and reputation, and the service must increase the possibility to quickly react to news stories as required.

The company's last Annual financial statements including notes, the Board's Annual Report and Audit Report, as well as new information of relevance to the company's fiscal numbers.

The contracting authority reserves the right to obtain credit ratings on its own initiative.

A short description of the most important deliveries in the last 3 years, including information on the contract's value and delivery date and time. Name of the contracting authority must also be given as well as a description of the content of the assignment.
