The framework agreement will ensure that the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency and a part of the defence sector's manual extinguishers and hose systems are inspected and maintained so that they function as expected. This also includes the disassembly and destruction of discarded equipment and the delivery of new extinguishing material. In addition, the tenderer must be able to offer courses and training in the use of the manual extinguishing equipment.

The inspection work must be of good professional quality and carried out in accordance with the current laws and regulations. The work must be carried out at the agreed quality, time, price, and with good service and orderly.
It is a prerequisite for the contract that tenderers have the necessary equipment to carry out the inspections, service and maintenance.
Work carried out in ordinary working hours must be done in such a way that it there is the least amount of inconvenience for users.

— planning and building act and associated regulations;
— fire and explosion protection act and associated regulations;
— internal control regulations;
— NS 3910 — maintenance of manual extinguishers;
— NS-EN 671-3 — Hose systems — Part 3: maintenance of hose drums with a form stable hose and a hose system with a flat hose.
